Projects

FileWave MDM Implementation

Role: System Administrator

Challenge: Implementing and rolling out District-Wide MDM platform for over 2,000 Macs, PCs, and iPads. Also coordinating and leading appropriate professional development and training for District Technicians.

Actions: Working with FileWave, setup and configured on-prem MDM server from the ground up, ensuring best practice and increased efficiency for device management.

Results: Vastly improved turnaround time for new device deployment, and ongoing endpoint management (patching, upgrades, and remote support).

Helpdesk, Inventory, and Lifecycle Overhaul

Role: Manager of IT Operations

Challenge: District did not have an adequate inventory management system or a helpdesk ticketing system in place. This made tracking devices and user issues almost impossible.

Actions: Worked with District leadership and IT Team to rollout IncidentIQ platform for Staff helpdesk requests, as well as implement device lifecycle policies for 2,000 Chromebooks, 800 Staff Laptops, and 400 iPads.

Results: Overall IT process and timeline for ticket resolution has improved exponentially, and District now has a concrete understanding of what devices exist, where they are, and who has them. This has translated to the creation of a 5-year device replacement plan.

New School Building Project

Role: School IT Representation

Challenge: The new Elementary School being built requires extensive IT oversight to ensure proper equipment, planning, network implementation, and ongoing support.

Actions: Working closely with the OPM and the Architect's Technology Consultant, I have been instrumental in providing insight and direction for any new technology and infrastructure.

Results: Being involved in the building project will help to ensure the Students and Staff walk into a fully functional 21st Century learning facility.
